  • RARE BERLIN IRONWARE NECKLACE
Someone will be very lucky to purchase this jewelry. It can be found mostly in museum collections, at times, only in fragments. Made in the Franco Prussian war when Napoleon's forces invaded Germany and the German treasury called to its wealthy for support. Only those at court and aristocracy owned jewelry. It is rare to find such a piece for sale. I have owned this necklace for many years but it is now time to sell. 5.500€.  PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE PHOTOS  Identicle piece can be viewed at The Hunt Museum. https://https://www.huntmuseum.com/collection/berlin-ironwork-necklace/
    Item Code HM 1998.01

A Berlin ironwork necklace. The unmarked necklace closely resembles stamped work by Johann C.P. Geiss of Berlin.
